1. Main Components of YIZHAN Industrial Digital Microscope
A complete YIZHAN microscope system consists of four main parts:
- Microscope Stand System
- Industrial Zoom Lens
- Digital Microscope Camera

Different applications require different mechanical structures. For example, PCB soldering repair requires a flexible working space, while industrial inspection may require a stable heavy-duty stand.
YIZHAN provides several microscope configurations to meet different working requirements:
- 180X Large Base Microscope Kit
- 150X Medium Base Microscope Kit
- 130X Small Base Microscope Kit
- 150X Foldable Stand Microscope Kit (Spring / Non-Spring Version)
Each structure is designed for different application scenarios.

4. LED Ring Light System
Proper illumination is essential for microscope imaging quality.
YIZHAN microscope systems use LED ring lights to provide bright and uniform illumination.
LED Ring Light Input Voltage Options
YIZHAN provides two voltage versions:
110V & 220V
Instructions for use: After power on, there is a light source main switch at the rear to control the light source on and off, and a side knob to adjust the brightness of the light source.
Loosen the three screws around the circle to facilitate the lens to enter from the middle.
After entering the lens, tighten and fix it according to the appropriate position.
5. Understanding Microscope Optical Magnification
Main Optical Parameters (Taking the 180X Lens as an Example)
The main optical parameters of an industrial digital microscope include magnification, working distance, and object field diameter.
The microscope magnification system consists of five main components:
Auxiliary Objective Lens → Main Zoom Objective Lens → Photographic Eyepiece → CCD Camera → Display
The first three components create optical magnification, while the CCD camera and display provide digital magnification.
The maximum optical magnification can reach 30X, and the total magnification can reach approximately 1776X (with a 1/3" CCD camera and 14" monitor). The maximum working distance is 320mm, and the maximum object field diameter is 90.7mm.
Taking the XDC-0745 0.7X–1.5X continuous zoom lens as an example:
Total Magnification = Optical Magnification × Digital Magnification
Optical Magnification = Main Objective Magnification × Eyepiece Magnification × Auxiliary Objective Magnification
Digital magnification depends on the specifications of the CCD camera and display.
Working Distance:
The working distance is mainly determined by the auxiliary objective lens magnification. Lower magnification lenses usually provide a longer working distance for easier operation.
Object Field Diameter:
Object Field Diameter = CCD Sensor Diagonal Size ÷ Optical Magnification.
Table 1
| Auxiliary objective lens | Photographic eyepiece-0.35X | Photographic eyepiece-0.5X | Photographic eyepiece-1X | Working distance (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.5X | 0.12~0.19X | 0.18~1.13X | 0.35~2.25X | 180 |
| No additional large eyepiece | 0.25~1.58X | 0.35~2.25X | 0.70~4.50X | 95 |
| 2X | 0.49~3.15X | 0.70~4.5X | 1.40~9.00X | 32 |
Table 2
| CCD Camera specifications | 14" | 15" | 17" | 21" | 25" | 29" |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 / 3" | 59.2X | 63.5X | 72.0X | 88.5X | 105.8X | 122.8X |
| 1 / 2" | 44.5X | 47.6X | 54.0X | 66.7X | 79.4X | 92.1X |
| 2 / 3" | 32.3X | 34.6X | 39.3X | 48.5X | 57.7X | 67.0X |
6. Important Microscope Parameters Explained
Optical Magnification
Optical Magnification determines the real magnification capability of the microscope.
Higher optical magnification provides:
- More detailed observation
- Smaller inspection targets
- Better micro-defect detection
Working Distance
Working distance is the distance between the lens and the inspected object when the image is focused.
A longer working distance provides:
✔ More operating space
✔ Easier soldering operation
✔ Better tool movement
Field of View
Field of view refers to the visible area under the microscope.
Formula:
Object Field Diameter = Camera Sensor Size ÷ Optical Magnification
A larger field of view helps users observe larger components.
Conclusion: Choosing the Right YIZHAN Microscope System
Different microscope structures are designed for different applications:
| Model | Best For |
|---|---|
